Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear for lessons and camp?

All riders are required to wear closed toe shoes (boots with a heel are preferred) and long pants for riding lessons and camp. Helmets are provided for riding and are required for all riders.

What happens in the case of inclement weather?

In the event of rain, storms, or extreme heat, lesson students will be contacted directly by their instructors to reschedule the lesson. Because we have a wonderful indoor space for campers to groom and enjoy groundwork, these sessions will be held as scheduled regardless of the weather.

Is there space for parents to watch lessons or remain on property?

Yes! We welcome visitors and hope you enjoy watching your student ride! For the safety of our riders, horses, and guests, we ask that you please keep all children within arms-reach during your visit. We do also have a dedicated lounge space for parents and family members to wait during lessons.

For camps, we ask that you please bring your rider to the front door of our main barn for check-in and then return to pick them up at the end of each session. We will have an opportunity for parents to watch rides on the final day of each summer camp.
